Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich (Fully accessible by Local Public Transport or Car)
Year Group: Supporting pupils EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday term time only
Pay: 90 – 115 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: January 2026

About Our Schools

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of Primary Schools in Greenwich who are seeking committed Primary Teaching Assistants to cover a range of roles including 1:1 TA roles, Learning Mentor role and General Class TA roles.

These are great opportunities for experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants who wish to make a difference in the development and learning of pupils.

Skills and Qualities

• Experience supporting children (Within any education setting or working environment)
• Knowledge of differentiation and adaptive support.
• Understanding of emotional regulation and behaviour support.
• Patience and strong communication skills.
• Flexible and committed.
• Desirable: Phonics or Read, Write Inc experience

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
• Two professional references from the last two years.
• Up to date CV with full employment history.
• Relevant work experience with children.
