About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered friendly and supportive primary schools in Chester. This is a full-time, term-time position, ideal for someone with experience in early years or KS1 who thrives in a collaborative and child-focused environment. This role is due to start after May half term and will be working closely with the KS1 team. You will be required to support with the daily routine of the class, conducting small interventions in core subjects and supporting the class teacher on a general basis. This role will run up to the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering a creative and engaging curriculum.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage progress.
- Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and general learning activities.
- Contribute to the social and emotional development of pupils.
- Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
To be considered for this role, we will need:
- Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
- A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
