Job Description

A well-respected and welcoming primary school in the Timperley area of Trafford is seeking a motivated and adaptable Part-Time PPA Teacher to join its team on a fixed-term basis until the end of the academic year. This role is for three days per week and offers the opportunity to work across a variety of year groups, delivering high-quality lessons while class teachers are engaged in planning, preparation, and assessment time. This role is a Monday – Wednesday role and you will be paid to your equivalent scale on a weekly basis, through Tradewind.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engaging and effective teaching in line with the school's curriculum, ensuring continuity of learning for pupils in the absence of their usual class teacher. This role requires:

  • Confidence in teaching across the primary age range, from Early Years to Year 6.
  • The ability to deliver well-structured, purposeful lessons that cater to different learning needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive, supportive approach.
  • Flexibility and the ability to quickly build rapport with different classes.
  • A commitment to upholding the school's values and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
