Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Primary Teacher for multiple teaching roles within a Primary School in Maidstone. These roles are full-time and would be on a temp-to-perm basis. I am looking to speak to both ECTs and experienced teachers alike, as shortlisting and interviews are happening over the next couple of weeks!

The school is a multi-form entry Primary in Maidstone and is graded GOOD by Ofsted in all areas. The school was observed to have a well-designed and balanced curriculum for the students, with care and dedication given to supporting children with SEN. The teachers have been highlighted for their strong curriculum knowledge, which has been supported by the school in the form of targeted CPD and opportunities to seek out improvement in areas you are interested in.

The school has onsite parking and is easily accessible via public transport.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in either KS1 and/or KS2
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum as a Primary Teacher would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
