Have you ever considered supply teaching to support work life balance and pursue other activities in addition to being a teacher? Here at Tradewind, we have a number of teachers working on a flexible basis across Early Years, KS1 and KS2. We ask for a commitment of at least 2-3 days per week and more often than not can provide advanced bookings so you know the placement location, way ahead of time.
Across Glossop and Tameside, we work with a fantastic range of schools, from small leafy schools to larger inner-city schools which each provide different challenges and rewards. Having built strong relationships with our schools, they are very supportive and welcoming of supply staff and will regularly ask for our candidates back. Supply teaching is a great way of continuing to make a difference to the lives and learning for children, whilst simultaneously freeing up your own time for personal pursuits.
With an online calendar, there is no easier way to take ownership of when you can or can't work and we are always on the other side of the phone to provide support, guidance and a professional, efficient service. We offer competitive rates of pay (Up to Β£150 per day) in return for your hard work and our google reviews speak volumes with how we support our candidates that register.
