About the School
Sanza is looking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and engaging Primary SEN Teacher to join an outstanding special needs school in Plumstead, Greenwich. This is a small and thriving mainstream Primary School that caters to children aged 4-11 years old.
About the Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with pre-verbal, ASD, Down syndrome and other needs. Working within small class sizes of 8-10 children and a TA with some children transitioning between mainstream and the provision. You will create a structured, safe and stimulating environment that supports communication, social development, and emotional regulation. You will work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and parents to ensure each child receives a personalised learning experience that promotes progress and independence.
Qualifications
- Ideally a Primary or SEN Teacher with a special education within QTS and a proven track record of teaching.
- Real desire and motivation to make a difference to the lives of students.
- Prior experience of supporting pupils with additional needs.
