Tradewind Recruitment Birmingham are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary School Sports Coach to join our team working with a school in Walsall. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and coaching a range of sports to primary school students, inspiring them to develop their skills and improve their overall fitness. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging and age-appropriate sports programs for primary school students. Teach fundamental skills and techniques across a range of sports, including but not limited to football, basketball, netball, and athletics. Plan and deliver safe and inclusive activities that cater to the needs of all students. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to encourage participation and promote a love of sport. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement. Support the school in organising and delivering inter-school sports events. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Level 3 Sports Coaching, Childcare or Sport Science qualification Experience coaching children aged 5-11 in a primary school setting Knowledge of child development and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents Current first aid and safeguarding qualifications (Can be provided) Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
