If you are an experienced primary teacher and your current agency is not giving you regular work, clear communication or transparent pay, it may be time to switch. If you are between teaching positions, we can offer flexible work to ensure you earn money while you wait for your next opportunity, whilst introducing you to some of the best schools in West London.
Tradewind Recruitment is expanding its daily supply team across Ealing and surrounding boroughs. We work directly with a large network of mainstream primary schools who use us as a preferred supplier for short-term and emergency cover.
We are looking for reliable, confident teachers who want either:
- Regular daily bookings
- Flexible 1-3 days per week
- Full-time supply without the planning workload
- A stepping stone into a long-term role
Why Experienced Teachers Choose Daily Supply:
- No long-term planning or data deadlines
- No parents' evenings
- Better work-life balance
- The ability to leave at the end of the school day
- Exposure to different schools before committing
- Control over which days you work
Many of our best long-term teachers started on supply to find the right school fit.

We focus on building a core group of reliable supply teachers and keeping them consistently busy.
The Schools:
We work with 1-form, 2-form and 3-form entry mainstream primary schools across West London. Many are Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding, with clear behaviour systems and established routines for supply teachers.
Several schools specifically request teachers who:
- Have strong behaviour management
- Can quickly establish routines
- Deliver pre-planned lessons confidently
- Leave clear handover notes
If you are that teacher, we can keep you busy.
Who We Are Looking For:
- UK QTS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
- Recent experience in UK primary schools
- Confident classroom and behaviour management
- Professional, punctual and adaptable
- Available for at least one day per week
This is not suitable for teachers without UK classroom experience.
Thinking About Long-Term or Permanent Roles?
Many of our daily supply teachers transition into secure long-term or permanent positions through us. If you decide you want something more stable, we can support that move.
If you are currently registered with another agency but not getting the consistency you expected, it costs nothing to have a confidential conversation.
Strong teachers are in demand. If you are reliable and confident in the classroom, we can provide the work to match.
