This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, broaden your experience across different year groups, and develop strong relationships with local schools-opening doors to long-term and permanent roles.

The Role

  • As part of our ECT pool, you will work across multiple primary schools, providing cover for PPA, staff sickness, and short-term absences.
  • Position: Primary ECT (Supply)
  • Contract: Flexible (1-5 days per week)
  • Pay: £120 - £140 per day (dependent on planning and travel)
  • Teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, helping you discover your strengths and preferred year groups.
  • Build confidence in behaviour management, lesson delivery, and adapting to different school environments.
  • Develop strong relationships with schools across Preston and South Ribble, increasing access to long-term and permanent roles.
  • Many ECTs progress into extended placements or full-time positions through supply work.
  • Quickly adapt to different classroom environments and school policies.
  • Support pupils' learning, progress, and wellbeing across a range of settings.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Be flexible, reliable, and confident working in different schools.
  • Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
  • Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Choose when and where you work-1 to 5 days per week.
