Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable experience across a range of supportive primary schools? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable ECTs to join our growing pool, supporting schools across Preston and South Ribble.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, broaden your experience across different year groups, and develop strong relationships with local schools-opening doors to long-term and permanent roles.
The Role
- As part of our ECT pool, you will work across multiple primary schools, providing cover for PPA, staff sickness, and short-term absences.
- Position: Primary ECT (Supply)
- Contract: Flexible (1-5 days per week)
- Pay: £120 - £140 per day (dependent on planning and travel)
- Teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, helping you discover your strengths and preferred year groups.
- Build confidence in behaviour management, lesson delivery, and adapting to different school environments.
- Develop strong relationships with schools across Preston and South Ribble, increasing access to long-term and permanent roles.
- Many ECTs progress into extended placements or full-time positions through supply work.
- Quickly adapt to different classroom environments and school policies.
- Support pupils' learning, progress, and wellbeing across a range of settings.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Be flexible, reliable, and confident working in different schools.
- Be passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
- Provide professional references and have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Choose when and where you work-1 to 5 days per week.
