The Role: Excellence in the Classroom

We are looking for organised and professional Primary Teachers who take pride in the "wrap-around" care of a classroom. Whether covering for a single day or a long-term absence, you will be supported with pre-set work, allowing you to focus on high-quality delivery.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Delivery of Prepared Work: You will be provided with full lesson plans and resources. Your role is to bring these to life, ensuring all pupils remain engaged and on-task.
  • Marking & Assessment: You will be required to mark the work completed during the day in line with the school's marking policy, providing pupils with immediate feedback.
  • Classroom Stewardship: At the end of each day, you must ensure the classroom is reset, organised, and tidy, ready for the following morning.
  • Comprehensive Handover: You will leave detailed handover notes for the returning class teacher, highlighting pupil progress, any behavioural points, and important messages from parents or staff.
  • Adaptability: Maintaining the "Good" and "Outstanding" standards of our partner schools across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Why Choose Tradewind Blackpool?

  • Fair Pay: We operate a 100% PAYE model. No umbrella company fees; the rate we quote is the rate you receive.
  • Professional Growth: Free access to 2,500+ CPD courses via the National College (including specialised Safeguarding and Phonics training).
  • Local Support: Benefit from our deep-rooted relationships with schools in the FY1 to FY8 postcode areas.

Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
