Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! Are you an experienced Play Leader looking for a role in a primary school? We are seeking an experienced and passionate Play Leader for an Ofsted rated \’Good\’ North Liverpool based primary school. This is a part time, long-term role with a daily rate of up to 100 per day.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Activity Planning and Implementation:

Developing and leading a variety of age-appropriate games, sports, arts and crafts, and other activities that encourage physical activity, creativity, and social interaction.

  • Child Supervision and Safety:

Ensuring the physical safety and well-being of all children in the program, adhering to safety regulations, and responding to any accidents or emergencies.

  • Positive Interaction and Role Modelling:

Building positive relationships with children, providing guidance and support, and acting as a positive role model for behaviour and social skills.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

Communicating effectively with parents or guardians about their child\’s experiences in the program and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a smooth and cohesive program.

  • Administrative Tasks:

Preparing and maintaining activity areas, managing equipment and resources, and potentially assisting with snack service and other administrative duties.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • Teamwork Skills:

The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
  • 3 Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification
  • An enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • A CV that must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
