This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional with a passion for supporting children's development in a structured, safe and engaging after school environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver structured and engaging after school club activities for children aged 5-11.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and well-managed environment at all times.
- Support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs.
- Work in accordance with the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
- Provide effective support for pupils with special educational needs.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with staff, parents and carers.
Requirements for the After School Club Assistant role:
- Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
- Experience working with children aged 5-11 years.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Experience supporting children with SEN needs.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
