The predicted salary is between 14 - 16 £ per hour.

Location - Oakington, Cambridge

Salary - £14.24 - £16.50 per hour depending on experience and qualification.

Hours - 3 hours a day, 5 days a week

Contract - Long term, Temporary.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional with a passion for supporting children's development in a structured, safe and engaging after school environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured and engaging after school club activities for children aged 5-11.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive and well-managed environment at all times.
  • Support children’s social, emotional and developmental needs.
  • Work in accordance with the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
  • Provide effective support for pupils with special educational needs.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with staff, parents and carers.

Requirements for the After School Club Assistant role:

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children aged 5-11 years.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN needs.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
