Are you an engaging and active PE Teacher looking for an exciting and fulfilling role in a supportive school located in September? If yes, we have an excellent part-time opportunity! A unique, supportive, and calm school needs a PE specialist to deliver lessons on Thursdays to pupils in secondary. The role will start ASAP and last until the end of the school year.

The responsibilities of the role include the following:

  • Deliver high-quality practical PE lessons to students in Y7 - Y11.
  • Encourage students to develop knowledge and understanding of different sports and movements.
  • Develop knowledge on the human body, fitness, and how it works.
  • Collaborate with the PE department, contributing ideas on ways pupils can achieve their potential.
  • Uphold high expectations of students and implement behavioural policies.
  • Always follow safeguarding procedures.
  • Cover some lessons in IT during your placement.

The position is paid to scale which means you will be paid a daily rate of £162.31 - £223.62. During your time at the school, we will support you through CPD training from the National College. You will also be assigned a consultant that will assist with needs and offer new opportunities once your commitment is finished.
