Year 6 Teacher (Part‑time)
Location: Southwark, South East London
Start date: September 2024
Contract: One‑term fixed (Autumn Term)
Working pattern: 3 days per week (job share)
Pay: £160‑£220 per day (PAYE), increasing after 12 weeks

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons using fully prepared planning
- Focus on excellent teaching and supporting pupil progress, without the burden of planning duties
- Collaborate with your job share partner to ensure continuity for the class
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
- Good understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements
- Excellent teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively within a job share arrangement
- Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all learners
- Commitment to delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons
