Part-Time L2/3 Qualified SEN/ Nursery Assistant Needed!

Are you an experienced and compassionate L2 or L3 qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?

Our welcoming academy in FY4 Blackpool is seeking a dedicated individual to provide one-to-one support for a nursery-aged child. This is a part-time role, offering 15 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday to Friday.

This academy is a truly inclusive environment, with a 40% SEN register and their very own SEN hub on-site. We have a strong pastoral team, and the care, guidance, and support our children receive are second to none. The child\’s needs are specific to their EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan), and there are minimal reports of challenging behaviour. This child is within the mainstream nursery of the school.

Their motto, \”Learning Together, Achieving Together,\” demonstrates their commitment to nurturing a culture of lifelong learning for all. These pupils have access to creative, sporting, musical, and cultural opportunities with a wide variety of extra-curricular activities.

Who We\’re Looking For:

We are seeking SEN or Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants who are:

  • Previous Nursery or EYFS experience.

  • Familiarity with special educational needs, supporting pupil transitions and integration to schools or familiarity with SEMH/ EHCP\’s.

  • Passionate about supporting children\’s learning and development.

  • Reliable, adaptable, and proactive in their approach.

  • Excellent communicators and collaborative team players.

  • Committed to creating a positive impact in the classroom.
