The Role
Part‑time SENCO position (3 days per week). Flexible working pattern available (set timetable also accommodated).
- Maternity cover from September 2026 until July 2027.
- Paid to scale.
- Work within a maintained nursery school environment.
- Lead and manage SEND provision across the setting.
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, and staff to ensure children receive the support they need.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Holds the NASENCO qualification, or
- Has substantial experience managing the SENCO workload within a school or early years setting.
- Has experience working within Early Years.
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice.
- Is organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
