The Role
They are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team for the remainder of the academic year. You will play a vital role in providing consistency in learning, attendance, and welfare standards for their pupils. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an inclusive environment and understands that academic success goes hand-in-hand with emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Year 4 class teacher in delivering high-quality, inclusive lessons.
- Provide tailored support for children requiring assistance with emotional regulation and re-introduction to the classroom setting.
- Uphold their "Nurture UK" principles, focusing on the holistic development of every child.
- Promote and support our reading-heavy curriculum and phonics initiatives.
- Work closely with our highly committed Nurture Team to support children and families pastorally.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: Must hold a Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience: Prior experience working within Key Stage 2 (KS2) is essential.
- Skills: Ability to manage challenging behaviours with a calm, nurturing approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of welfare.
