  • Monitoring student progress and contributing to their individual learning plans.
  • Managing and maintaining outdoor equipment to ensure safety and readiness.

Essential Qualities:

  • Proven ability to work effectively with young people, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Strong practical outdoor skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) highly desirable but not essential; relevant outdoor education qualifications (e.g., NGB awards, Forest School Leader) and significant experience are equally valued.
