Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Early Years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong behaviour management skills who is passionate about helping young children flourish.

About the Role

As a successful candidate, you will hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education and have significant experience managing challenging behaviour in young children. You will work closely with children, families, and staff to ensure every pupil receives the highest standard of care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Nursery Manager in providing high-quality learning experiences for Early Years pupils between 07:30-17:30
  • Developing and implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour
  • Working collaboratively with parents and carers to provide consistent support between home and school
  • Assisting with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring pupil progress

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or Nursery Assistance
  • Strong experience in managing challenging behaviour in young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to supporting all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Solid knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework
