Location: Southwark, South East London

Start Date: February (after half term)

Contract: Long-term, until the end of the academic year

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, term time only

Pay: From 100 per day (PAYE) / (Equivalent of 120 per day via Umbrella)

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and community-focused mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Southwark to recruit a dedicated Nursery Nurse / Early Years Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting after February half term. The Role

  • Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities
  • Providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental needs

The Ideal Candidate Will

  • Have previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or Early Years Teaching Assistant, ideally within a primary school setting
  • Have experience supporting children with SEN
  • Hold a CACHE Level 3 qualification (or a recognised equivalent in Early Years / Childcare) - essential
  • Be enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about early childhood education
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
