Nursery Teaching Assistant

Full Time Position

Monday to Friday (Part time and full time available)

Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Nursery Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse to work in a small nursery located in Stretford, Trafford.

The role is available ASAP and is on an ad hoc basis. You will be working between 8:00am-5:00pm five days a week, depending on the shifts offered.

As a Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse, you\’ll be responsible for supporting the learning and development of young children aged 0-3 years. You\’ll be working alongside experienced staff to create a fun, engaging and nurturing learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Supporting the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Assisting with planning and delivering activities and lessons
  • Building positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Supporting children with their personal care needs
  • Keeping records of children\’s progress and development
  • Contributing to the smooth running of the nursery.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of working with Early Years children
  • Experience of working in a relevant classroom environment
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
