SEN Teaching Assistants (x2)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN School in the NG5 area of Nottingham.
These full-time positions are available across both the Primary and Secondary phases, supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN professionals or individuals looking to build a rewarding career within specialist education.
The Role
- Support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Work on a one-to-one and small group basis
- Help students access learning and achieve their individual targets
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Are patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)
