A large secondary school based in Northwood, Hillingdon, is looking for a Physics Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term contract. The school is seeking someone to start in September, with the role expected to continue on a long-term basis. This position is full-time, although part-time applicants will also be considered. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Salary will be paid in line with the Outer London MPS/UPS pay scale. The school is conveniently located close to public transport links, making it easily accessible for staff travelling from across London and the surrounding areas.
Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being desirable. Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts through practical investigations and engaging classroom activities. Prepare students for GCSE Physics, ensuring they are supported and challenged to achieve excellent academic outcomes. Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment where curiosity, resilience, and independent thinking are encouraged.
