Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a number of secondary schools across Northumberland and the surrounding area, who are actively seeking a History Teacher to join their Humanities department ASAP. Applications are welcome for temporary, short-term, part-time, full-time, and permanent roles.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Teaching engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with A-Level History opportunities available in some schools)
- Planning stimulating lessons that explore key historical periods, events, interpretations, and themes
- Encouraging critical thinking, source analysis, and strong written communication
- Adapting teaching to support mixed-ability classes and diverse learning needs
- Working collaboratively within a supportive Humanities department to share resources and good practice
- Supporting or leading extra-curricular activities such as history clubs, heritage projects, or educational trips
