About the Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 opportunities in some settings)
  • Inspire students through practical investigations and scientific enquiry
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and tracking pupil progress
  • Promote a passion for Science and its real-world applications
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within a supportive and well-resourced Science department
  • Get involved in enrichment activities such as STEM projects, science clubs, and educational visits

We're Looking For

  • Qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) in Science
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
  • An engaging and reflective practitioner who motivates and challenges students
  • High expectations for behaviour, achievement, and student progress
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply, with full support and mentoring available
