Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an SEN Cover Supervisor to join a school in Northampton from September. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working with children or young people, particularly within an SEN setting, who is confident managing a classroom and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
The role will involve:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher
- Delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with SEN and adapting your approach where required
- Managing behaviour effectively and confidently
- Working closely with teachers and support staff
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a school or similar setting, a calm and consistent approach, and a genuine commitment to supporting pupils' learning and development.
