We are seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join a growing specialist school in Northampton.
Responsibilities
- Managing the school's finances, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Overseeing procurement and ensuring value for money across all services.
- Leading HR administration, recruitment, contracts, and personnel processes.
- Managing health and safety, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Overseeing premises, facilities, and operational services.
- Supporting the Headteacher with strategic planning and business operations.
- Managing and developing administrative and support staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a School Business Manager or in a senior school business support role.
- Sound understanding of school finance, budgeting, HR processes, compliance, premises management, and operational leadership within an educational setting.
- Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and excellent communication abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating with senior leaders, governors, staff, and external stakeholders.
