Residential Support Workers Required - Northampton Ad Hoc, Bank & Overnight Opportunities Available. Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and proactive Residential Support Workers to support one of our specialist Further Education (FE) settings in Northampton on an ad hoc and bank basis. These opportunities arise primarily to cover staff absences and provide additional support when required, offering flexible work that can fit around your existing commitments. The setting supports young people and young adults with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and other Special Educational Needs (SEN). Alongside residential support duties, there may also be opportunities to provide SEN support within the educational setting, making this a varied and rewarding role.

We are particularly looking for candidates who can undertake overnight shifts during the week and weekends, ensuring students receive a high standard of care, supervision, and support within their residential environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing overnight supervision and support within the residential setting.
  • Promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive daily living skills.
  • Supporting residents with routines, activities, and personal development.
  • Ensuring the safety, comfort, and welfare of students throughout shifts.
  • Building positive and professional relationships with students and staff.
  • Assisting with SEN support duties when required during educational hours.
