Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Reintegration Support Worker to join a supportive educational setting in Northampton from September 2026. This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and successfully reintegrate into education. You will work closely with students who may have experienced challenges such as poor attendance, behavioural difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs, or periods of exclusion from mainstream education.
As a Reintegration Support Worker, you will provide tailored support to students both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping them build confidence, develop positive relationships, and re-engage with learning. Working alongside teaching staff, pastoral teams, families, and external agencies, you will play a key role in promoting positive outcomes and ensuring students are given the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting students transitioning back into education following absence, exclusion, or alternative provision placements.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people.
- Implementing individual support plans and monitoring student progress.
- Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and engagement with learning.
- Liaising with parents, carers, school staff, and external professionals.
- Providing mentoring and guidance to help students achieve their personal and academic goals.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to review meetings where required.
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, social care, or support setting.
