We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Northampton that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Languages Teacher from September 2026. The school is ideally looking to appoint permanently, although fixed-term and long-term supply arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

The Role
- Teach French, Spanish, or German across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver engaging lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Promote cultural awareness and enthusiasm for language learning
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that support progress for all learners
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform next steps
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Languages department
- Support enrichment activities and wider school initiatives where appropriate
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- Specialism in French, Spanish, or German
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for languages and culture
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to supporting student success
