We are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Northampton seeking motivated and enthusiastic graduates to join them as Graduate Teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to build confidence, develop classroom skills, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment before pursuing PGCE, SCITT, QTS, or salaried teacher training routes.
About the Role:
This full-time role is designed to provide graduates with practical school-based experience. You will work alongside experienced teaching staff, support students in and out of the classroom, and gradually take on more teaching responsibilities as your confidence grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and classroom activities
- Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 subjects
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assisting with classroom management and student engagement
- Supporting teaching staff with lesson preparation and resources
