Salary: £24,796 - £25,185 FTE - Actual Salary £15,461.53 - £15,704.13

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing Church school in Northampton that is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2026. The Role
- Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) both in and outside the classroom
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and stimulating learning activities
- Support children on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to help them achieve their full potential
- Encourage the development of children's social, emotional, and communication skills
- Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school community
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly, and positive in their contribution to the whole school community
- Can work confidently, effectively, flexibly, and independently when required
- Has previous experience supporting children of a relevant age, ideally within a school or educational setting
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Demonstrates good literacy and numeracy skills
- Can build positive working relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
- Shows initiative, creativity, and adaptability in different situations
- Is passionate about safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
