Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and committed Casual SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Wellingborough area. This flexible, day-to-day role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
- Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs
- Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Qualifications
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience welcome)
- Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Can adapt to different settings and pupil needs
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
