Responsibilities:
- Preparing, setting up, and clearing away materials, tools, and equipment for practical Art lessons
- Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions where required
- Maintaining, organising, and cleaning art studios, equipment, and storage areas
- Assisting with the preparation of displays, exhibitions, and showcasing student work
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering art supplies and materials as needed
- Supporting the safe use of specialist equipment and materials within the department
- Carrying out basic maintenance of equipment and ensuring resources are ready for use
- Assisting with general departmental administration and resource organisation
Qualifications / Who we’re looking for:
- Experienced or confident working within an art, design, or creative environment
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting student learning
- A strong communicator who can work effectively with staff and young people
- Aware of health and safety procedures related to art materials and equipment
- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential
