We are seeking a committed, caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team at a thriving secondary school in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to support students' learning, behaviour and wellbeing, both in and out of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-class support to students, including those with SEND and additional learning needs
  • Support individuals and small groups to access the curriculum
  • Assist teachers in delivering effective and inclusive lessons
  • Promote positive behaviour and support social and emotional development
