Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join one of our valued clients based in Newham. This is a full-time, temporary role with an immediate start, with the possibility of extension.

You will be teaching English & English Literature across Key Stages 3 & 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning in English Literature. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the collaborative ethos of the Science department.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (applications welcomed from ECTs)
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to raising student attainment and fostering a positive learning environment
