Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist education setting seeking a committed and enthusiastic part‑time teacher to join their team, supporting a small class of 10 pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This role is part‑time and offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right teacher. The successful candidate will be given dedicated planning and preparation time as part of their working week.
About the pupils:
- Pupils present with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
- Learning is typically below age‑related expectations and requires clear differentiation.
- Some pupils may also have associated needs, such as speech and language delays, attention difficulties or social communication needs.

The role:
- Teaching a small class of 10 pupils within a supportive specialist environment.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and specialist staff.
- Monitoring progress and contributing to reviews and learning plans.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent).
