Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our valued client schools in Milton Keynes from September.
This rewarding opportunity is based within a specialist setting that supports secondary-aged students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The school provides a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to develop both academically and personally, with a strong focus on building confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, manage their emotions, and achieve their individual goals.

The Role Your responsibilities will include: Supporting students with a variety of SEN and SEMH needs both inside and outside the classroom.
Working closely with teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated learning activities.
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students regulate their emotions.
Promoting independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
Building strong, positive relationships with students and staff.
Assisting with the implementation of individual education and behaviour support plans.
We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, SEMH, or additional needs.
A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with students who may have experienced challenges in education.
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment.
