We are currently supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes that is looking to appoint a Part-Time KS1 Class Teacher from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and supporting young learners during their important early years of education.

Role Overview- Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the Primary National Curriculum
- Take responsibility for teaching, planning, and assessment within a KS1 classroom
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Support pupils in their academic progress as well as their personal, social, and emotional development
- Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs
- Track pupil progress and use assessment effectively to inform future planning
- Promote high expectations for behaviour, participation, and achievement
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers
- Contribute positively to the wider ethos and life of the school
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working within a UK primary school setting, ideally within KS1
- Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, including phonics and early reading
- Confident classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management skills
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- Reflective, adaptable, and enthusiastic about improving outcomes for children
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
