Are you a qualified Level3 Early Years Practitioner with a passion for supporting young children at the beginning of their educational journey? Would you like to work in a nurturing primary school environment where you can help children develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning?

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes that is seeking a dedicated Level3 Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team from September2026. This is a fantastic full‑time, permanent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high‑quality support and creating engaging learning experiences for children in the early stages of their education.

The school offers a caring and supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, develop key skills, and build strong foundations for future learning through play, creativity, and positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) across the primary school setting
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate learning activities
  • Provide support through play‑based learning, group activities, and targeted interventions
  • Encourage children's communication, language, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to support their confidence and independence
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children with additional needs, working closely with the SENDCo and wider school team where required
  • Encourage positive behaviour and support children's emotional development
  • Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and daily routines
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote children's success

Who We're Looking For

  • Level3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Experience working within a nursery, preschool, reception, or early years primary school setting
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with young children and families
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning through play and exploration
  • A reliable, proactive, and adaptable attitude
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willingness to apply)
