The Role
- Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students through creative and hands-on learning experiences.
- Support pupils in developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence within the workshop environment.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Design Technology within a secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for their specialism.
- Can create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Is committed to supporting student achievement and progression.
