Midday Supervisor – Primary School – Birmingham
Location: BirminghamHours: Approx. 11:30am – 1:30pm (Monday-Friday)Start Date: ASAP
Are you a caring, reliable and proactive individual looking to support children in a primary school setting? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Midday Supervisor to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Birmingham.
About the Role
As a Midday Supervisor, you will play a key part in ensuring pupils experience a safe, enjoyable and well-managed lunchtime. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and school premises
- Encouraging positive play, good behaviour and healthy social interaction
- Supporting children with organising activities and games
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
- Managing minor first aid incidents (training can be provided)
- Reporting concerns or behaviour issues to senior staff
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident working with children
- Able to use initiative and promote positive behaviour
- Reliable, punctual and committed to supporting the school community
- Previous experience in a school environment is beneficial but not essential
