Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking Midday Assistants to support schools across Chester during lunchtime hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive team.
We have an increase in demand also for wrap around care in our schools; if you wish to work additional hours then schools are also looking for support from 7am to 8:30am and 3:30pm to 5pm.
Your Role Will Include:
- Supervising children during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground
- Encouraging safe and positive behaviour during play
- Assisting with setting up and tidying away lunchtime areas
- Supporting younger pupils with eating or moving safely around the school
- Reporting any incidents or concerns to senior staff
To be considered for this role, we will need:
- Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
- A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
