MFL Teacher β Newcastle upon Tyne
Tradewind is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team and work with our partner schools in Newcastle upon Tyne.
We are looking for an inspiring MFL Teacher who can effectively teach at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, or German across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) and potentially Key Stage 5 (KS5).
Key Responsibilities
- Some aspects of Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging MFL lessons that cater to a diverse range of student needs and abilities.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities related to MFL.
- Upholding the school\βs high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A relevant degree in a Modern Foreign Language or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4 (experience with KS5 is desirable).
- Thorough knowledge of the current MFL curriculum and assessment requirements.
