Are you an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a new opportunity where you can make a genuine difference to pupils?
We are working with a welcoming primary school in Market Harborough that is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join their team immediately.
The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, creativity, and high expectations to the classroom while supporting pupils to achieve both academically and personally. This is a full-time, permanent position, and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom where pupils feel confident to learn
- Adapt teaching and resources to support different abilities and learning needs
- Use assessment to monitor progress and inform future teaching
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Encourage independence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning
- Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
- Contribute to school activities and the wider school community
About You
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, although this is not essential
- Have a strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Demonstrate confident classroom management and communication skills
- Build positive and respectful relationships with pupils
- Are organised, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching
- Are committed to supporting pupils with SEND and different learning needs
- Understand the importance of safeguarding and pupil welfare
- ECTs are encouraged to apply and will receive appropriate support and mentoring
