Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated primary teacher ready for your next opportunity? Do you have a strong interest in Key Stage 1 and want to be part of a thriving, inclusive school community in Manchester? Tradewind are currently recruiting for a committed and engaging Year 1 Teacher to join a highly regarded and welcoming primary school in South Manchester on a full-time basis from the end of May.
You will take full responsibility for a Year 1 class through to the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role, paid in line with MPS1-MPS6. The school is known for its strong sense of community, high expectations, and focus on delivering a rich and engaging curriculum. Staff benefit from a collaborative and forward-thinking team, supportive leadership, and a strong commitment to professional development and staff wellbeing.
- Experience teaching within KS1, with a secure understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Confidence in delivering high-quality phonics sessions (experience with schemes such as Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle is desirable)
- A nurturing and inclusive approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
- QTS (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
- Recent experience teaching in KS1, supported by strong references
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
