Are you a Psychology Graduate considering a career in education, educational psychology, therapy, counselling or children's services? Working as a Teaching Assistant can give you valuable hands-on experience working directly with children and young people.
We have opportunities across Manchester supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEN, SEMH, autism and behavioural needs. You could be:
- Supporting pupils 1:1
- Delivering interventions
- Supporting emotional regulation
- Helping pupils develop confidence
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs
- Supporting children to access learning
We're particularly interested in graduates who are patient, resilient, enthusiastic and passionate about helping young people thrive. Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential - transferable experience with children, young people, mentoring or support work is highly valued.
