We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with significant behavioural needs. This is a rewarding role where you will play a crucial part in helping a child access learning, develop positive behaviours, and thrive within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil with complex behavioural challenges
- Implement effective de-escalation and behaviour management strategies
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other professionals to develop and follow an individual support plan
- Encourage academic engagement and maintain focus and motivation
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress, behaviour, and interventions

- Experience supporting pupils with SEND and/or challenging behaviour
- Team Teach trained (or willing to undertake training)
- Calm, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
