Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated male PE Teacher, looking for a new opportunity in a community school in Buxton?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a flexible and innovative male PE Teacher, to join a large community secondary school, to start September 2025, for at least one term. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to 223 a day. Additionally, for experienced applicants, the school would be able to offer Head of Department TLR.

Responsibilities

The role itself will involve the delivery of PE lessons to students in KS3 and KS4, where the department has enjoyed improving GCSE results year on year. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history with any employment breaks explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
